Our afternoon brings construction, funding for places, sustainable planning and building methods, exploring industry innovations and what the future can bring through collaboration and celebrating our abundance of local resources.

We’ll question where is Lochaber in the place development cycle and looking in detail at construction, methods and place-based innovations, with partners from Highlands & Islands Enterprise and Built Environment – Smarter Transformation (BE-ST). Plus, we’ll hear from innovation projects in the Western Isles with insights.

Later in the afternoon we’ll welcome local business representatives alongside The Highland Council to discuss how Lochaber can get more housing and how Lochaber can work together to offer building innovations.
